Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This policy explains what information we collect through this website, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business — and we do not sell personal information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Pacific Coast Design Group ("PCDG," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information collected through www.pacificcoastdesigngroup.com (the "Site"). It applies to the Site only — not to information we collect offline or under a signed construction agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you submit our contact form or book a meeting, we collect what you enter, which may include:

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data when you visit — IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and timestamps — in server logs used for security and site operation. We do not run advertising trackers on the Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not send marketing lists to other companies.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

If you select text as your preferred contact method and check the consent box on our form, you agree to receive text messages from Pacific Coast Design Group about your inquiry and project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You can also opt out by emailing info@pacificcoastdesigngroup.com or calling (310) 573-4242. Your mobile opt-in and SMS consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and Website Data

The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies or similar storage the Site sets are limited to essential functions such as security and page operation. Typefaces on the Site are served from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads; Google's handling of those requests is described in its own privacy policy.

If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this section before they go live.

7. Data Retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and evaluate your project, and afterwards as part of our business records for the period required by California contractor licensing, tax, and insurance obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information — encrypted transmission (HTTPS) on the Site, access limited to those who need it, and reputable providers for storage and processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA. Whether or not those laws technically apply to a business of our size, we honor the following as standard practice for California residents:

To exercise any of these rights, email info@pacificcoastdesigngroup.com or call (310) 573-4242. We will verify your identity by matching the details of your request against the information we hold, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent if you provide written permission for them to act for you.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site links to outside websites — government recovery resources, insurance agencies, our Houzz profile, and design partners. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
